I recently published the essay “Last Night was Lucy’s Birthday,” in the From the Other Side exhibition catalogue for the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art.

In August 2022, the Museum of Modern Art in New York City ran “Women Make Horror,” a screening series based on my 2020 book, Women Make Horror: Filmmaking, Feminism and Genre. This is very excellent.

My video essay, Knit One, Stab Two has screened at over 30 festivals across Africa, Latin America, North America, South Asia, South–East Asia and Europe, winning awards in Brazil, Japan, India, Italy, Peru, Spain, Thailand, UK and USA.

It was one of the most cited video essays in the BFI / Sight & Sound Best Video Essays of 2024 poll. Judge Barbara Zecchi commented "for its originality, sharp feminist criticism, and sophisticated editing techniques, this video essay firmly secures a place in my top 10 video essays of all time.”
